The Lightbox gallery and museum in Woking is one of the most exciting cultural spaces in the South East. Three stunning galleries host a huge range of exhibitions, changing regularly. The venue has received many awards in recognition of its work, including winning the Art Fund Prize in 2008.
The building is also home to Woking’s Story, an interactive museum of the town’s history. If you are visiting with children you will find plenty to keep them occupied with our hands-on activities and interactive displays. You can also enjoy a coffee and slice of delicious cake or lunch in the canalside Café. Afterwards you can browse for a special gift or memento of your visit in the Gift Shop.
