Saling Hall Garden

Saling Hall Garden

A plantsman’s country garden of 12 acres, internationally famous for its collection of rare trees and shrubs in a sylvan landscape, chronicled over the past 35 years by Hugh Johnson in his monthly Tradescant’s Diary. Six ponds, a Temple of Pisces, a Menhir and many vistas make a garden of moods and surprises, beauty and strong botanical interest. The house (not open) and walled garden are dated 1699.
