Built in the 16th century, Provost Skene’s House is one of Aberdeen’s few remaining examples of early burgh architecture. Splendid room settings include a suite of Georgian rooms, an Edwardian nursery, magnificent 17th century plaster ceilings and wood panelling. The house also features an intriguing series of religious paintings in the Painted Gallery and changing fashions in the Costume Gallery.
