The ancient home of the Fulford family since circa 1190. Built round a courtyard it is mainly early Tudor. There is a superb panelled Great Hall and a marvellous 17th century Great Staircase. Other rooms in the ‘gothic’ taste by James Wyatt when the house was remodelled in 1805.
