Ayscoughfee Hall Museum & Gardens

Ayscoughfee Hall, a magnificent Grade II* listed building, was built in the 1450s. The Hall is set in extensive landscaped grounds which include, amongst other impressive features, a memorial designed by Edwin Lutyens. The building and gardens combined reflect the splendour of the Medieval, Georgian and Victorian ages. The Hall has been fully restored and a number of important and rare features uncovered. The Museum explains the history of the Hall, and features the lives of the people who lived there and in the surrounding Fens.
