St Mary's Church

Much of this charming 14th-century ironstone church has been unaltered for over 600 years including the nave and chancel, the screen and benches, and the king-post roof.

The carved stone altar was hidden in a pit during the Reformation. The pulpit, altar rails and a fine monument with brass to Benjamin Pigott, his three wives and 14 children, are from the 17th-century.
